This course is designed to get you up and running with Skype for Business Online fast! Even if you know nothing about it at all! It takes you step by step through using everything in Skype for Business Online from the very first steps of installing the software, showing you each item in detail, including video tutorials and lesson notes at every stage that you can download to review off line.
You'll learn how Skype for Business will save you time doing your job and importantly how to save money in your organisation by slashing the costs of communications. Most importantly, it will show you how to be more productive by using the tools you already have to communicate better. If you use Office 365 but are not yet familiar with Skype for Business then this course is for you.
We'll start with an overview of Skype for Business and then show you how to install and use the desktop client. You'll then learn how to schedule meetings, both in Outlook and on the Web. The features available inside Skype for Business meetings will then be covered including Instant Messaging, File Transfers, Voice, Video and content sharing. You'll learn how to record and produce meetings as well as run a Skype for Meeting Broadcast. Finally, you'll get an introduction to managing Skype for Business in the Office 365 admin console as well as how Skype for Business works on mobile devices.

Your Instructor

Robert has a degree in Electrical Engineering as well as Masters of Business Administration. He is also a Small Business Specialist, Microsoft Certified SharePoint Professional and Office 365 Administrator. Robert has over 20 years of IT experience in a variety of fields and positions, including working on Wall St in New York. He continues his involvement with information technology as the Principal of the Computer Information Agency.
Apart from resolving client technical issues, Robert continues to present at seminars locally and internationally, as well as write on a number for topics for the Computer Information Agency. Robert has been President of the SMBiTPro community in Sydney. Since 2012 Robert has been awarded a Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award from Microsoft for his contributions around the Office 365 product. He also develops and presents technology courses on a regular basis at various locations. Robert is committed to a process of ongoing business and technical education to continue developing the skills required to assist clients with their business challenges.
